Medical and Interview

I know this is probably a silly question but it has been playing on my mind.

I have been having treatment for Breast cancer. I had my medical in September, just before I had my operation. They asked for additional information from my surgeon after the operation and this was faxed to Bentinck Mansions in October. I actually finish all my treatment on Christmas Eve and should get the all clear soon after that, my cancer was a low grade and the outlook is very good.

My question is - They have scheduled my interview for Jan 14th. If The medical doctors were unhappy would they have let me know? Would they still schedule an interview if the medical wasn't passed?

I am so worried that they will deny this visa due to my medical history even though there is a 90% chance of my cancer not coming back.

Cancer is not a visa disqualifier, only infectious diseases that pose a risk to others health, such as TB, AIDS, ...

Aww *hugs* I am so glad to hear you're almost at the all clear stage I am sure there will be no problems - like YuAndDan say - I think you would only get denied your visa on medical grounds if you were going to spread some demonic plague to the masses As it stands I think you'll be just fine

Just wanted to add further reassurance that cancer or history of cancer will not cause problems with getting the medical approved. I'm very glad to hear your outlook is good.
