The bank teller will stamp all 3 copies of your receipt and return 2 copies to you to be submitted with the visa applcation. Deposit slips can be printed online at http://amcits.com/deposit.pdf

Interviewer (Olivia), at 1pm, stated that one should have ample time to finish the document check, fingerprinting and interview and return to medical clinic to pick up results before the consulate closes (4pm). |

Vaccination requirements? |
You must bring your record of vaccinations to the medical. Adults are required to have had a Tetanus shot in the last 10 years. Woking Medical specifically requires Adacel (Boostrix is an acceptable shot as well -- same makeup, different brand name) -- a tetanus booster itself is not enough.

Cheap and good hotels near the Consulate? |
The consulate is in downtown Vancouver *west* (W Pender St) www.hotwire.com has a few hotels in that area. The Westin Bayshore is a close walk to the consulate and very nice. Hotwire lists this hotel as 4 star approx. $150 a night. This area of Vancouver has many hotels! So happy hunting.
There is also Days Inn Downtown Vancouver, 1 block away from the consulate. You can get a room for less than $100/night. If you check out on the day of your interview, they will store your belongings for free while you are at the consulate. |

* K2 children are only required to bring 2 photos to the Medical in Vancouver with Dr. Ian Morgan.
* ALL photos MUST BE in color.
* When at the K1 interview, they will request that your documents be in this order (updated: 2009/08/19):
1. passport
2. Scotia bank fee sheet
3. photographs (print name on back)
4. OF-156/DS-156
5. DS-156K
6. birth certificate (long form)
7. marriage certificate (if any)
8. termination of previous marriages
9. police certificate(s)
10. court records (if any)
11. Affidavit of Support and signed OF-167 attachment (they will also ask for income tax returns and the W2 as supporting documentation)
12. medical (they do not ask for the chest x-ray so you don't need to bring it with you)
