We started our journey on November 24, 2021. It was in the middle of the pandemic. Earlier on we were thinking that it would not really take more than a year. I think that was the optimism in us but later on had to realize that the pandemic took a lot from us who were in the process. I opened up a support group on facebook for November 2021 filer and has now grown so much and has become a great community of people who are in the journey. Got approved on February 2023. Our case reached the Philippines on April 2023. Had my medical on May 2023, during the first week. The slot I got was for July 2023 interview but with due diligence and help from the group I got a spot on May 2023 and arrived in the US on the 22nd of June 2023. The process was altogether smooth. Arrived at the embassy around 4 in the morning. Though that that was early already but when I saw the queue, I proved myself wrong. During the K1 visa interview, the process was notably smooth and efficient. The questions mainly focused on the information provided in our application, such as names, birthdates, my fiancé's occupation, and details about his divorce. Additionally, they inquired about my previous travel experiences abroad. The interview progressed quickly, and the only specific document requested beyond the standard civil documents was the divorce decree of my fiancé. Overall, it was a straightforward and positive experience.

Interview time was 7:30AM. No problems at all at interview. Interview was conducted by a young American man. Questions asked were: Petitioners name, address, type of work, and if I had been married before. Asked her if she was working, if she had ever been abroad, and if we had any kids together. I-134 was not collected or looked at. She was approved and finished before 10AM.
