On Aug 19th me and my finance arrived at the embassy at 7:50am for our 8:30am appt. As we approach the embassy, we were directed by people outside on where to park. As we approach the embassy, the ladies took our DS paperwork and put them in order, then we proceeded through security gates. Remember not to bring cell phones or makeup to the embassy. We then proceed where rec'd a yellow slip and our number. We waited for about 1hour & half before we were called to give them our paperwork and have his fingerprints taken. It was a friendly atmosphere by the workers. One worker will come over frequently to provide helpful tips. After we went to the window to hand over our paperwork and he did his fingerprints, we waited about 45 minutes to be called for our interview. MY HUBBY WENT TO THE EMBASSY AT 7:30 HE DIDNT GET OUT UNTIL 11:49. HE SAID THAT THERE WAS ABOUT 20 OF THEM THAT WENT AND ONLY FOUR WERE APPROVED! THEY ASKED
QUESTIONS LIKE:

WHERE DID WE MEET?
WHY WE GOT MARRIED?
HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE AT THE WEDDING? (HE FLIPPED THROUGH THE WEDDING ALBUM AND LOOKED AT THE PICTURES)
WHERE DOES HE LIVE?
WHEN DID I LEAVE JAMAICA?
HOW LONG WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER?
WHAT TYPE OF WORK I DO?
WHERE I WORK?
HOW OFTEN HE SEES ME? (HE WAS SPECIFIC IN ASKING THE DATES)

HE ANSWERED EVERY QUESTIONS CORRECTLY THEY GAVE HIM THE PINK SLIP AND TOLD HIM TO PAY THE FEE AT DHL.

My fiance's interview was scheduled for Sept 3 @ 11am for his blue sheet interview. He checked in with the ladies with the yellow shirts. Went through security and walked through the court yard. A man stapled his information to the blue sheet (police record) and gave him his number. When his number was called he went to the window. The interviewer asked him about his arrest. He then said ok all these charges were all thrown out of court. He then asked him if he had any other problems with the law. He aked for his passport and then told him to go pay DHL for your visa delivery.

Me and my finance arrived at the embassy around 7:10am. Our appointment was at 8:30am. We entered the embassy around 8:00am. The ladies with the yellow shirts gathered our paper work (DS156, D156K, DS157 & proof of visa payment). We entered through security (no cell phones, liquid gels, etc.). We passed the group of people sitting outside (visiting visa applicants) and went through the door, where a gentleman handed us a yellow slip and our number A140.

We waited about 1 1/2 hours before our number was called. A lady requested a copy of our documents (she was not very friendly, never made eye contact). She fingerprinted my fiance and then requested we be seated, and await our same number to be called.

We waited another 30 minutes or so. A white american male requested to see my finance\'s passport and asked me to be seated while he asked him some questions.

- when did u meet the first time
- what did u do that day
