I had a 7:00 interview in Kingston. Left my home (Trelawny) 2:30 a.m. and arrived at the embassy at 5:45 a.m. There will be several men standing on the roadside trying to get you to park in certain spots for money. You dont have to park their you can try parking in other areas several feet before you reach the embassy. There were many persons already ilined up. Please note that there are two separate lines outside the embassy. Make sure you stand in the shorter line that is to the right of the embassy. I stood in the wrong line for a long time and as a result i almost ended up at the back of trhe correct line. They started letting people in at about 6:45. Ensure you have the following documents out before you reach in:

1) appointment letter
2) Passport
3) 2 (not four) passport size pics (They will ask you to write your full name lightly on the back of them

You will then go through security check and then sit orderly in the park in the embassy... read complete review

We stayed at the Wyndam the night before...which was about 15 min. (in traffic) from the embassy, It was a nice hotel and easy access. We arrived at around 7:30 am for his 8:30 am appointment. We were already expecting to be "Blue Slipped", because the RGD kept coming up with reasons why his No Impediment wasn't ready. We walked up to the "Ladys in Pink", who asked for his DS-156, 156-K, and 157..she stapled his passport photos to the papers where they needed to be. Then she looked up at me and said, "You know you can't go in right?" I said, I thought that they wanted the petitioner there and she said, they don't allow them in anymore, but that they would come get me if they needed me. She then gave my fiance back all his papers and told him to go inside. The security guard checked that he had seen the "Ladys in Pink" and then let him inside. Right inside the doors was the security check point-no cell phones etc...Once inside, it took him about 3.5 hrs. total. He said the long... read complete review

On Aug 19th me and my finance arrived at the embassy at 7:50am for our 8:30am appt. As we approach the embassy, we were directed by people outside on where to park. As we approach the embassy, the ladies took our DS paperwork and put them in order, then we proceeded through security gates. Remember not to bring cell phones or makeup to the embassy. We then proceed where rec'd a yellow slip and our number. We waited for about 1hour & half before we were called to give them our paperwork and have his fingerprints taken. It was a friendly atmosphere by the workers. One worker will come over frequently to provide helpful tips. After we went to the window to hand over our paperwork and he did his fingerprints, we waited about 45 minutes to be called for our interview. His interview lasted for about 5 minutes and he was ask 4 questions.
1.Where did we meet
2.How long where we dating
3.Did he have friends who has come to US

My fiance's interview was scheduled for Sept 3 @ 11am for his blue sheet interview. He checked in with the ladies with the yellow shirts. Went through security and walked through the court yard. A man stapled his information to the blue sheet (police record) and gave him his number. When his number was called he went to the window. The interviewer asked him about his arrest. He then said ok all these charges were all thrown out of court. He then asked him if he had any other problems with the law. He aked for his passport and then told him to go pay DHL for your visa delivery.
