Here\'s the initial review as pieced together from choppy conversations as Reigel waited to catch a bus. Reigel\'s appointment was at 8:30 and he was seen around 12:30 or 1. He said the wait was the worst part of the whole thing. We were pretty well-prepared for the questions they asked. I was previously married and they did ask him about why my previous marriage had failed. Fortunately we had discussed that. He said the only one that surprised him was what did I do for work before I became a teacher. We hadn\'t ever talked about that, but he told them I was in school. Close enough. I don\'t have a lot of detail on the questions they asked him just yet, but he said they were most interested in looking at our pictures and didn\'t really look at much of the other paperwork. I am significantly older than him and I was worried that they would really harass him about that, but I guess they barely talked about it.

I will add more details later when I have a clear follow up co... read complete review

My husband arrived at the embassy at 6:30 for his appointment which was scheduled for 7:30. They started letting people in just before 7am. He got finger printed and the lady asked him if his wife had been married before. He told her yes, and she asked for the divorce decree. When it was his turn to be interviewed he said the man was very nice and asked a few questions and that the rest of the interview was more like a conversation.

The questions asked..

When did you meet your wife?
Where did you meet?
Where do you intend to live?
Do you know any Jamaicans in Calfornia?
He asked to see photo album
The last question was... Are you ready to go live in California?

The C/O told hubby.. Your good to go!! Go pay the fee for your visa delivery!!

Our Interview was scheduled on Jan 27 at 830 am. My husband arrived at the Embassy well prepared. Interving Officer only asked him when did we meet and who introduced us. After those questions the IO began grilling him on my previous marriage. He asked maybe 15-20 questions about my husband, when we married, why we separated, when we divorced. Im guessing because I met my husband while I was married but separated for 3 years. After answering all the questions to the best of his ability, IO requested a me to come in for a petitioner interview for Feb. 2 7am. I arrived at the Embassy. After waiting almost 2 hours IO finally called me up, interview me. Asked me about my Ex- husband and then left me standing at the window for about 15 minutes, come back to tell me to go to window 25. Window 25 was actually a room where they stokes interviewed us 1st separately then together. We were interviewed by a very nice Jamaican woman. She really was an angel in disguise. After the interviews, we wer... read complete review

Here is our experience..hubbys aapt was @ 715 am, i accompanied him but was made to sit in the courtyard while he interviewed. He was not called until 1130. He was interviewed by the jamaican immigration officer. she asked the following questions: how many times did i visit? what things did i like? how old are my kids? what do we do when i visit? how long do we talk on the phone? none of the questions were earth shattering....only drama we ran into was she requested hubbys BC which i already sent them the original copy. we had a copy in our hotel room but not with us @ interview. they attempted to blue slip us an make an appt to come back....i told husband absolutely not!! just tired and wanna be done with immigration! so he was allowed to retrieve the BC an return it the same day before 1. after returning it, he was approved. overall the experience wasnt too bad.
