Hey Everyone 
My interview went GREAT, I arrived at the US Embassy in Cairo at 6:30 am, there were around 30 other people waiting in front of the embassy,15 minutes later some guy got out and asked us to form 2 lines, one for the Immigration Visas and another for normal Visas ( like visits, study, tourism etc…) so we did that and luckily the Immigration people weren't many that day, I was number 2 in the line. At 7:00 am they let us in and gave us numbers and told us to wait in the Visa section hall. the Visa officers started working and calling numbers at 7:30 sharp, around 7:40 they called my number, the officer was an Egyptian lady, she was nice but didn't smile a lot, anyways she checked my documents, took my medical report and reviewed everything, gave me back some stuff from my BIG case folder she had ( like pictures, Cards and phone bills that my husband had submitted along the process) then told me to go pay for the DHL ( it was 67 Egyptia... read complete review

My husband had a very simple interview. They let everyone in around 7:15. He was called up three times. Once to hand in original documents and pay the DHL. Once to do his fingerprints. Then he waited 3 additional hours for his interview. The CO, a man, was very nice and joked with him a lot. He asked only a few questions: How we met? When did we get married? Have we visited each other since our wedding? And what my husband did for a living? That was it. My husband asked if he wanted any additional proofs and the CO said no. That we had more than enough info in our file. I made sure to send lots of proof and photos with the CR1/IR1 and K3 packets. He said we were approved but would have to wait for AP to finish. The AP will last 2-3 weeks usually he said. But sometimes longer.  My husband asked him if he would like for him to leave his passport.  And the CO said no he might lose it. . Ok so my Fiance went to the interview and first the man interviewing him was so mean ! He didnt ask many things about us (what he knows about me, how his family feels etc...NOTHING ! He was just asking him about my salary and how many times I came to Egypt ! (never let Amr finish a question before cutting him off ) Grrrrrrrrrrrr !!!! He took his passport, Amr did the fingerprints and paid for the DHL... The man said all our papers were in order and we are APPROVED !! Thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn he gives Amr back his passport and says we are under Administrative Processing !! OMG !!!!!!!! He says they will contact him in about a month !!! We are so sad Our case has moved so fast (alhamdulillah) then this

MY FIANCE HAD HIS INTERVIEW ON MARCH THE 5TH, HE WAS THERE AT 7:15 AM, 4 HOURS LATER THEY CALLED HIS NAME, HE WENT TO THE WINDOW AND A NICE LADY ASKED HIM SOME QUESTIONS, TOOK HIS FINGER PRINTS, ALSO ASKED HIM TO SWEAR HE WILL MARRY ME ONCE HE ARRIVE, AND SENT HIM TO PAY THE DHL FEE FOR RETURN THE PASSPORT, EVERYTHING WAS FINE,THEN HE WENT TO TAKE A SEAT AGAIN AND CALLED HIM AGAIN THE LADY WAS AMERICAN, SHE ASKED HIM IF WE WANTS ENGLISH OR ARABIC, HE SAID WHATEVER SO WAS IN ENGLISH, SHE ASKED HIM MANY QUESTIONS, WHEN, HOW, WHERE, ETC. SHE ASKED HIM SOME PICS AND IF HE MET MY FAMILY AND MY KIDS, HE WANTS TO SHOW HER OUR EMAILS AND MY KIDS EMAILS TO HIM BUT SHE SAID NO. AT THE END SHE ASKED HIM FOR MY ORIGINAL DIVORCE CERTIFICATION AND I FORGOT TO SEND IT HE JUST HAD THE COPY SO SHE ASKED HIM TO SEND IT BACK WITH HIS PASSPORT AND THAT WE WERE ON ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS THAT COULD TAKES FROM 3 WEEKS TO 3 MONTHS.
