We had no major problems through out the process. The biggest problem we had was that the entire process went EXTREMELY fast and it was difficult to get all the required documents together in time. The only complaint I have concerning the consulate is they would not answer any questions. I ended having to contact my congressman to get any answers from the consulate. The interview was no problem, my fiance said they asked him how he met me and showed him pictures that I had submitted as evidence and asked him to identify the people and the location. The only problem we encountered during the interview was the doctor that did his medical exam forgot to submit the results to his blood work. But he received a letter of approval pending that his blood work was ok, and he received his visa through DHL a little over a week later.

Paper work became a little more confusing once the US Consulate received the papers. We never received Packet 3, but were able to contact the consulate. They indicated that Packet 3 was not necessary, since they had all required information. They emailed us the Packet 4 information and requirements.
My wife was able to obtain here medical appointment and I sent her some required documents.
I flew down to Bolivia to accompany my wife to the interview. We believe this helped with the processes. They did not allow me to enter in the morning, but I was able to accompany her in the afternoon, for second step of interview.
In the morning, the officer asked her several questions. He asked how we met and my wife said the internet. He then said, “Really !!” and tried to find problems with paperwork. He was not very nice, but could not find any problems.

We got the visa... yea!!! Below are some notes that will help those that follow hopefully be less nervous than we were:
So Paola showed up at the embassy an hour early but was instructed by the guard that she wasn't to enter until 10 minutes before her interview. She went in and handed in her paperwork including everything requested in the letter from the embassy. We made cover letter's for everything which I think helped keep things organized. She was then interviewed by 4 people in spanish, all american citizens, that she said were very calm and didn't make her feel nervious even though I know she was very uneasy going in. They asked her how we met, how we got engaged, when was the planned wedding date and for the most part each of them spent 5 minutes or so chatting with her making sure she knew me but not being intimidating. Well everything went ok, I took with me a lot of pictures and evidence of our relationship,they wanted to see more communication of the last months but I just have some phone records and some papers from the postoffice that shows that I sent him some stuff the last days so they were ok.
