Our Story
Meeting on YouTube, we became fast friends over zombies and a mutual love of Phil Collins. We remained platonic until John came to SoCal for a film festival (where his film was nominated). By the time John left, we were bit by the love bug (yowch!). We got engaged over Thanksgiving '08, and filed K-1 in February '09. I risked my life to fly to England that June, my perilous journey marked by a delicious breakfast and bitchin' in-flight entertainment. I came for John and fell in love with his mom instead, but I already had a K-1 out on John, so I couldn't marry her. After prying my fingers from the front door of aforementioned mom's home, promising me that we would return to England, John came back with me to SoCal, where we married that July.
