My fiance has his exam on the 11th of june, and he is nervous. he is rather modest, and is concerned about what this doctor is going to do to him. I imagine the exams are the same where ever, but for clarity sake we are in Lima. Any one care to share what exactly gets done to the poor guy?

I don't know if there are any procedures specific to the region you are in, but the US Department of State has a clear procedure and list of medical instructions that all approved doctors (both inside the United States and outside) must follow.

It is indeed a thorough exam.

Here are the full medical instructions:

Best of luck!

My husband's medical exam was mostly questions about his health and his family history.

The doctor checked his pulse, pressure, listened to his heart, checked his lungs/back...

not invasive and quick.

I was allowed in the room.
