Hello,

 

my fiance did her interview June 6th and the consol seems like to have doubts about our relationship so he asked for " family registration" to check my fiancé marital status even though she showed her divorce certificate also he asked for our viber call history. Now the case is under "administrative processing" and he gave her the passsport back. Did anyone went through a similar case before? I'm really freaking out😔

helo.. i m daniyal...... my interview was held on 9th, May 2017.... My visa category is F4. At the time of interview CO told us that your documents are ok and they also carry our pasports.....after that they asked us to send the DNA reports which were silghtly missing to them. I send the DNA reports to islamabad us embasy via email. Now please tell me how much time it will take to approve our visas. We are in so much conflict and frustrated. Is their anything to worry about in my case? Please ans.

I send the required documents on this email adress of usembassy isl.  ACSislamabad.state.gov.

They reply me that they have received my email.  

Is this email address is ok? Did my documents will be reached to the CO? Please tell.

Hi Daniyal,

 

since you were told by the CO that everything is okay and he kept your passport I don't think you need to worry it's just matter of time. For administrative processing it can take up to 60 days. Just keep sending emails to the embassy to check status.

In my case he didn't keep my fiances passport and returned it to her and ask for additional documents and that's what worries me.

Hello,

 My husband and I went for an immigrant visa interview and we were asked to submit our medical to DHL in Accra and return in 3 weeks to pick our visas.We did that the following week and today is exactly 5 weeks.

However, our visa status was last updated a day after our interview and it  has remained the same since in Administrative processing. 

I will like to know if everything is ok or we should follow it up at this stage.

Helo0 vicaf. First of all confirm thay your documents have reached to the related CO. If it is done, then dont worry u just need to wait. Administrative time varies due to differennt fundamental circumsatances. And most of the procecessing resolved in 60 days..so wait for atleast 2 months.

But pls how do I confirm if our documents have reached the related consular. And when u say related, do u mean the one who interviewed us?

No pls, rather she gave us a green visa collection form and another requesting us to submit our medical to DHL with passport and other relevant documents which we did.

Vicaf visit the site usembasdyislamabad and click on  contact tha embassy. Then fill the inquriy form to know about your documents reached to the CO section. They will inform you abouy your visa status n documents. If you will not find i will send you the link. 

And in my case CO gives us a 221g sheet demanding our DNA results. They also said that our doucuments are all correct and theu kept our pasprts also...we have to wait atleast 60 days.

We didn't do the medical before the interview but we did at Holy trinity hospital which US approved.
