action needed on K3? (split topic)

Hi everyone! i was reading all the messages on this thread and they're all informative. We have the same case too. Me and my husband applied for K3 and then later on we realized that it was already obsolete. We got our NOA1 for 1-130 last Sept. 29, 2016 and NOA1 for I-129F last Oct. 25, 2016. We wanted to proceed on CR1 visa because they said that the K3 will not be approved anyway or if it will they will still prioritized the I-130. Do we need to call them up or write a letter telling them that we will cancel the I-129F and proceed in processing CR1 or we'll just wait for our NOA2? or we'll wait until the NVC got the case? Please give us some advice.
