Bona-Fide Marriage Evidence

Hey y'all,

 

We are just about ready to send in our application packet, as soon as we get the I-864 Affidavit forms done... It's been the most stressful one of all... (About those, is an online IRS transcript sufficient or do we need actual tax return forms?)

 

I was just wondering how the evidence of bona-fide marriage part actually works, if they don't find it sufficient at the time you send it, do they straight up deny your application or do they still schedule the interview and ask during the interview? We will definitely have more to show at the interview than we do now. 

 

As of today, all I can show is our two joint bank accounts (Bank of America and USAA), him being an authorized driver on my car insurance, and perhaps me being listed as a legal occupant on his apartment lease. He also changed his last name to mine, if that helps convince them... I thought about maybe adding plane tickets we bought together in the past? We usually don't take many photos, just not that kind of people in general. (I suppose this adds to the reasons why we got married haha)

 

Anyways, any help is appreciated! So thankful I found a community like this

They will almsot always schedule an interview before denying.

You don;t need many photos, but having one or two of everytime you met before you moved in together helps, alone with plane tickets,. hotel receipts etc.
