Hey guys, so I am prepared to send my package today.

However, I was looking over my photocopy of the sealed I-693 package and a blazing error of not checking off "I can read and understand English" was right smack there on the first page. What can I do about this? Can I attach a signed note recognizing the error? Can they connect the dots that I can clearly speak English?

I am so frustrated I made this mistake.

AOS Package sent: 12/20/2016

AOS Package received: 12/22/2016

Fees accepted: 01/05/2017

NOA email received: 01/09/2017

NOA letter received: 01/13/2017 (dated 01/06/2017)

Biometrics appointment letter received: 01/21/2017 (dated 01/14/2017)

Biometrics appointment date: 01/30/2017

Case status changed to ready to schedule interview: 02/10/2017

EAD card status changed to being produced: 03/24/2017

EAD card sent in the mail 04/03/2017

Interview scheduled for: 05/10/2017 (Case status changed on 04/04/2017)

The more I think about it, the more I am pretty sure I am going to have to call the civil surgeon's office and explain this situation. Bring it back to the office, and have them open the package so I can check it off and then they can re-seal it.

Their office is out of town, so this is entirely annoying. But I suppose that's what I have to do.

Just an update for anyone else dealing with this, I called the clinic and they told me to come in and redo the page. So there you have it.

pretty unique situation, and I agree that was your only option.

ROC Timeline

 

June 15, 2020: Sent package through USPS

June 18, 2020: Delivered to Arizona PO box

June 23, 2020: Credit Card Debited

June 24, 2020: E notification for case (LIN-Receipt) 

July  15, 2020: Case was updated to show that fingerprints were taken

July 16, 2020 : Official NOA letter dated July 1 was received  

July 20, 2020 : Official fingerprint taken notice dated July 15 was received

March 05, 2021: Status updated to "Card in Production"

March 06, 2021: Status updated to I-751 Approved
