VJ here has a great little timeline search function once you figure out how to use it.

This data applies for Philippines only

I input 4 date ranges to get an idea of how long the NOA2 and Interview processes are taking throughout the year.

Please keep in mind this is only based upon info input by VJ users on their timelines so if info is input incorrectly it may alter the actual estimates.

Here is what I found:

From Jan 1st, 2016 to June 30th 2016 it took 78 days on Avg. for NOA 2 and another 62 days on Avg. between NOA2 and Interview date. This was for the first 6 months of 2016

From June 30th, 2016 to November 2nd, 2016 it took only 48 days on Avg. for NOA 2 and another 57 days for interview date at the US Embassy in Manila

More recently the wait has dropped even more. From August 31, 2016 to Present (November 2nd, 2016) it took only 30 days on avg. for NOA with no reports of interviews.

To summarize:

1st half of year 78 days from NOA 1 to NOA 2

Since 2nd half of year down to 48 days

and

The last 2 months down to 30 days from NOA 1 to NOA 2.

What does this tell us?

It tells us the wait time has decreased through out the year for NOA 2 out of the Philippines (same may or may not be true for other countries)

Now if only NVC would catch up. :clock:

Well your "average" time frame from for NOA2 is spot on with ours at 48 days haha.

and by interview yea about 50 days I think (our own delays a little bit).

So seems those averages/statistics are relatively accurate if I do say so myself

Congrats to you both and good luck to him on his interview next Tuesday.

I'm the US petitioner and already live her in Pacific Northwest. Yes Portland is great and plenty of Filipino's in the area as well.

Only one Jollibee around and that is in 3 hours north in Seattle. LOL

Hahah my mistake in regards to that. Hard to know sometimes who the USC or beneficiaries are.

We have one Jollibee here in Houston (still hour away from me here).

My partners more excited to see Taco Bell again haha. He hasn't been to one in 3 years about since his last J-1.
