Experience with collecting Visa in Sydney after interview?

My fiancé lives in WA. Does anyone have experience with the beneficiary collecting their Passport with Visa in Sydney after their interview and then departing for the US from Sydney rather than returning home elsewhere in Australia to receive their Passport with Visa in the post and then leaving for the US? Is there an option to personally pick up the Passport with Visa from the consulate in Sydney? Or perhaps have the Passport with Visa sent to the beneficiary's hotel in Sydney? Many thanks for your help!

Just to follow up on this post: you can specify any address you like for them to post the passport with your visa and the immigration package - it doesn't have to be your 'home' or 'work' address even thought that is what it says on the form available from https://cgifederal.secure.force.com that is launched from the http://ustraveldocs.com when you select Australia. This is what it says that gave me the impression it had to be your home or work address: If you will not be at your home address, it is recommended to put your work address instead. Of course, you will want to provide an address where someone is available to receive the package. There does not seem to be an option to pick up the passport with visa and immigration package at the consulate in Sydney.
