Also sorry. My fiancé has sent me photocopies of his W2, bank deposits, and a letter from his employer. Will copies be okay or do I need originals of his W2 etc?

If you needed that, I would have said so.

An original employer letter is best proof. W2 is extra and can be photocopy. I don't see the point in bank deposits really unless you need assets to make up for a shortfall in salary.

Take everything.

  • The instructions printed at that website
  • payment receipt printed from that website
  • the letter+approved I-129f that London mailed out when they received the pack from NVC.

Really? When NVC transferred the case to London and London received it they should have sent a letter to the beneficiary.

Literally everyone I dealed with at the embassy for my interview wanted to see this. Hopefully the instructions printed from the the booking website will be sufficient.

Really? When I went last month they didn't ask to see the letter from the embassy! They wanted the DS160 confirmation page and the page that listed my interview time and that proved I'd paid (which was just something I had to print off)

Funnily enough, they never asked to see my DS-160. Sounds like you'll be fine chipmunk :)

Oh that makes me feel much better!! The letter isn't included as one of the required docs online so I feel like other people might not know to bring it anyway... I've also read consulate reviews of other people reporting the same as you so I have a feeling he will be okay ??

Guess it just depends who you deal with I guess... Thanks!! Yes I hope so :)

London sends a letter of instruction to the beneficiary when they receive the case from NVC. It is not taken to the interview. Prior to May this year, London sent a second letter assigning an interview date. That appointment letter was shown to the outside line organizers. That is no longer received or needed.

Knightsbrisge say they want to see it, but in reality will still do your medical without it. They just want to get the LND case number off of it.
