Hi all!

After checking our case status at the USCIS websit we found out they approved both I-130 and I-129f at the same day.

I read so much about this scenario but almost every post says something else.

So what is the bottom line here? Is the K3 visa gonna be administratively closed and they would continue with the I-130 alone or will they give us the option to choose (or any other option I ran into online)? WHAT HAPPENS NOW??

Thanks much

Shani

Generally speaking yes, the K-2 will be administratively closed, but that's not always the case. You can try to call and see if they will let you push forward with whichever you choose, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
