From 2 months of AP to 2nd interview to being ISSUED!! GOD is great :) London embassy

I am so happy I just couldn't resist myself to share my story/my fiance's story! Fiance had his first interview on March 27. The CO was not satisfied at the end of the interview so she told him London embassy will mail him a letter. No 221G either!! Just felt like a verbal refusal as she said she wasn't convinced. My heart sank. We were so sad and depressed as we already had planned everything and fixed our wedding dates in the States. After two months of patiently waiting we decided to get married in the UK. I even got a UK marriage visitor visa so that we can file Spousal visa after marriage. After coming to UK in June my fiance found a letter mailed to him from embassy asking him to attend another interview. We looked at the date and got another shock. The mail arrived after 1.5 months of the interview date. We thought we would go crazy. After calming ourselves down we decided to write london embassy an email explaining our situation. Within 2 business days embassy emailed us back saying it is fine and that they can arrange another interview date for us. This time I went to the interview with him thinking they will let me stand on the lobby at least. Anyway they dont allow any visitor inside so I waited for him outside on the street. He came outside after 2 hrs looking very happy. He was approved!! Today I checked status on Ceac site and it says Issued!!.. I have been a regular on visajourney since August of last year. Learned so much from here and will be needing the help once again during the adjustment status filing period.

Anyone going through london embassy know that they are pretty good, easy, and I would say very flexible! :D

Hi Nusshaf, I'm a little confused by your story. I understand the end that you were approved for your visa. So you didn't get married, because you found the letter for the 2nd interview? Either way, it sounds like you and you guy are happy, so naturally I'm happy for you as well! :joy:
