Successful completion of a Board recognized licensure examination.

It is critical to your licensure to not withhold any information regarding each question on the application.

Foreign Applicants

:

1. Obtain an official course-by-course evaluation report from the board approved foreign education evaluation agency,

Successful completion of an English proficiency examination recognized by the board approved foreign education evaluator,

. Graduates of nursing education programs in Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, Tobago, Trinidad and the United Kingdom are exempt from completing the English proficiency exam.

Examination Information

: The applicant is required to pass the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s NCLEX RN exam. Once the board office receives official notification that the applicant passed the exam, they will be issued a RN license.

You need to go to the website of the state you want to be a nurse to find the requirements. You also need to pass the nclex rn. I have a friend that also took cgfns and english test
