Hi Guys,

I have a quick questions concerning my N-400 processing. I filed my N-400 since last year august and in line since September 4. And I have called the uscis office several time and also made a request for the interview notice. I was told to wait 30 days but I didn't get nothing in the mail or change of status on there website. My local office is detriot. I will appreciate if anyone here can advice me on what to do next. This is killing me...waiting waiting waiting......pls help with what to do next. My dad had partial stroke and I need to go home and take care of him...plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he gets well. The processing time for Detroit office is 5 months. You are already close to that time frame. Make an infopass appointment with USCIS and try to check what's going on with your case. here is the link https://infopass.uscis.gov/info_lang.php?sel_lang=en

In the mean time try writing to local congressman/senator.

And next time when you call USCIS, ask the representative to transfer your call to tier 2. They may not agree but you insist to do so.
