Phew, I just finished my medical today.I went there yesterday then I had to come back today to get the results and the vaccines. Everything went fine, (except that I really thought they were going to need urine sample so I tried to keep it for hours only to find out that they won't ask for it.. a for a-fort! ) .. I met some nice people there too while waiting on the line.

Few tips:

-If you are coming from the North and you are going to take the LRT, don't make the same mistake I did yesterday, I got off at Pedro Gil station and I walked a really long way. Get off at UN avenue, walk straight ahead then turn left , you can see McDonald's there, you could use it as your landmark.

-Make sure to read and bring all the requirements that is listed on their website

-By the way, my fiance told me he just got the Letter of Case number from NVC today. I didn't bring that with me since we just got it today, I just printed out a screenshot of our case status from CEAC website that says "Ready" and shows our MNL case number, the guard on duty accepted that.

-for the picture, make sure to follow the guidelines, (the guard that on duty when I was there was strict about the ears showing on the pictures), Write your name at the back of each pictures.

-it would really save you time if you register online :)

-I came there around 5 30am, and my number under the people who registered online was number 40. Its better to come early if you can. there is another line for senior citizen and people who didn't register online, the guard calls number alternately from those groups.

-food are not allowed inside, make sure to eat before you come there.

-when I first got inside it was really crowded and hot, but sooner I felt it got really cold hehe, just bring a jacket just in case.

-be attentive, there are really a lot of people there, they might already be calling your name and you are not hearing them

-ALWAYS make sure you have your passport with you when you leave a certain area

We went first on the first floor to get our documents needed to pay the fee. Then paid the fee at the cashier. Then they took our vital signs. Then the x-ray . Then the immunization interview. The doctor there told me what vaccines I will get. Then waited for like 2 hours or so for the physical exam which was the last part of my day 1. (The doctor was professional although a bit strict esp about dates. She was like expecting me to remember the exact date the last time I had allergies from seafood. That was very challenging! haha. But she was kind and polite when asking questions.) I finished at exactly 12 noon. The nurse told me to go back today at 9am.

Day 2, I got there at 7am, the only requirements today are passport, receipt, and visa photos. Then I gave my receipt to the immunization area. They called my name after 45 mins, then I got my vaccines and I was told to go on the ground floor to get the list of my vaccines and the cd for x-ray. I went there, they asked for my passport, asked me to sign documents and then called my name after 15 minutes and gave me the cd and the vaccination documentation worksheet. The nurse told me that I will need to present the cd and the vaccination worksheet at my POE when I come to the US.

That's all I can remember for now. Maybe I'll add more when I remember something.

Good luck to everyone who are going to have their medical exam :)
