i've called the 800 number several times, and now I even spoke to an immigration officer who pulled up my file, and still no touch! so now I know they mean nothing!

Oh, and the person who told me they had an i-129f petition from me last year was wrong. there was no match, thank god! :)

PLEASE LETS STOP THIS!!! Yes! many people have been approved with NO Touch. You must not ignore the many others that a TOUCH DID MEAN SOMETHING!!!. Only 1 example and you can search for the others as they DO exist!!!!

Did Ya note that this was a July 27, 2006 NOA1? Yes the new form! Some get the approval with no word or touch, Some have this kind of activity on their USCIS.GOV accounts. Do not state that your oppinion of what a TOUCH realy means Nothing if you don't know the BIG PICTURE that actualy affects other people!!!!

i guess my point was more that a lack of a touch doesn't mean they're not doing anything or looking at your case. I stood there while the lady actually accessed my case and still no touch. i'm fully aware that some people have touches right before they're approved, etc. but not getting touched doesn't mean that they aren't doing anything. that was my whole point.

by the way, what you stated was your opinion. why should you be able to do so and I can't? I think that's unfair that you should tell someone not to state their opinion. none of us (that i know of) are immigration officers. this is a public forum. most of what we know comes from the uscis website and the rest is sheer educated speculation and opinion.

Complete BS! You can't possibly tell me that a touch will mean anything. If you can, please tell me exactly what each of your touches mean, and why is it that I NEVER got a single touch until the day of my approval on 9/18/06?

Touches don't mean DIDDLY SQUAT! Why can I say that empathically? Because you have NO idea what any of your touches mean. Thus it means SQUAT! For something to mean something precise, you have to know what it actually means. In this instance, NO ONE knows what any touches mean. NO ONE! Not you! Not Yorak! Not Aussie Wench! Not ANYONE!

So you have NO choice but to conclude that touches mean diddly squat!

Any other interpretation is wishful thinking and fanciful dreaming!
