It will take the NVC about two weeks to go over the DS-230. If everything looks ok and they've also completed reviewing the I-864, they'll complete your case and make an appointment with the embassy.

Affidavit of support must have been submittted by your petitioner. When NVC receives your DS-230 forms with other civil documents submitted by you, it will be reviewed and if anything is missing, NVC will still get intouch with RFE, but i. not, then NVC will wait until visa number becomes available.Right now, the priority date being treated for your category is 15th of November, 1997.So keep an eye on the monthly bulletin to know when visa number is likely to be available for you.

Affidavit of support has been submitted and our priority date became current many months ago.our priority date was probably may,1997.

and they sen a checklist cuz some documents were missing those documents were submitted later and the petitioner got another checklist indicating that everything was fine.now we are waiting for the interview.idk how long its gonna take.the problem is that i will turn 21 on 24 jan,2009.

if i m given the advantage of CSPA then 10 more months can b added.but i m not sure cuz i have seen many cases in which the embassies didnt call those who turned 21 beofre the interview.
