Hi. Sorry if this is on the wrong forum, I've searched and I couldn't seem to find any other topics relevant. I'm not quite moving to the US yet...me and my fiancé are currently in the process of the K1 visa. My last visit to the US was December 2022 before we filed. I am wanting to visit again for Christmas for about 6 weeks but I'm a very nervous flier and Immigration Officers terrify me. I came through Atlanta last time and I was through in about a minute, no questions asked...I got engaged during my visit and left when I was supposed to. I have found a flight from LHR to BNA, direct with British Airways. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with CBP there and if I should be worried about anything...especially being grilled. I landed in Nashville domestically last December so I didn't get to experience their POE. TSA was lovely though. I appreciate if any advice could be given on their experiences or if I should expect anything. Again, sorry if I put this on the wrong forum. Thanks!

We are in the process of shipping items to the US from my husband's former home in Switzerland and are filling out CBP Form 3299 (DECLARATION FOR FREE ENTRY OF UNACCOMPANIED ARTICLES). The form asks for his former country of residency-- this is where it gets confusing for us: - My husband is a Swiss citizen who moved to London in 2016 and lived there as a resident until 2020, when he became a US permanent resident - However, the items we are shipping are coming directly from his former home in Switzerland where he had lived for his entire life previously (and where his father lived until very recently) - We also need to fill out the "Supplemental declaration for unaccompanied personal and household effects" form, which asks for his last foreign address, which would have been in London Should we list his former residency as the UK or Switzerland? Should the last foreign address be the one from London, or from Switzerland? If we state that he was last a resident of the UK, but his stuff is coming from Switzerland, will that cause any problems since we are declaring these items for free entry? Thank you!

Hello. I will be crossing the US land border from Canada with my approved K-1 Fiancé visa in the next few months. I am trying to research options for crossing the border with all my personal items. I am wondering if anyone could shed light on land crossing requirements. I would like to drive across in a Canadian vehicle that I am registered under then drive it back to the border (not across) for a family member to pick up, once I am moved in. I have no intention of officially importing the vehicle to the US. Is this generally allowed without any extra paperwork involved? Thanks
