Just out of curiosity, do the immigration officers make notes on every person that enters the United States in regards to what they said when they enter?

My fiancee and I traveled together one time back to the United States from Chile, but we separated for the immigration portion because the directing officer first kind of separated us when she was pointing us to which window we should go to and we weren't married nor had we started any immigration process quite yet so I didn't think we were actually "traveling together" like as a couple. Especially since they make you do the form as a "family", I had never traveled back together with him and it was 12:30am and I was exhausted when we were going through the line so maybe not thinking 100%.

Now I wonder though if this could cause an issue because we said we were "traveling separately". My fiancee did say that he was coming over to see family and friends to the immigration officer.

Do you think this could cause issue with our case? My fiancee did leave in the time required and we didn't marry or anything like that while he was here on the VWP.

They record everyone entering and exiting the US but they usually only make notes about Q&S if you go to secondary screening. I doubt you have anything to worry about.

Thank you! I thought that we probably wouldn't have anything to worry about but I become anxious and then I just worry too much and nit pick maybe thats my problem!
