Renewing Driver License during ROC

Hey guys

Just curious. When I got my license they set it to expire when my conditional green card expires. So i'm just wondering, after i've

applied for my ROC, and i go to renew my license. Will they just use the expiration of my extension letter that you get during ROC as the expiration date for my new license?

Hard to tell, since the states have jurisdiction over DLs, each state can and do things a little differently.

YMMV.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

It really depends in which state you live. Some states get it, and some are really really pitiful about renewing without a physical green card. See if your state's Department of Motor Vehicles has a decent web presence and check. Or - try to ask your question to those in your particular state (Idaho?).

Thank you guys, I appreciate it. I should have figured it could be different for different states. I think I will just call the DMV and ask. I wouldn't wanna show up at the DMV and end up waiting in line for nothing
