I petitioned for my wifes conditional status removal in june. And this morning the web site gave me an invalid for the receipt number. I called and they cannot locate the receipt number that was on my notice of action. What does this mean? Did they lose our application? They could not tell me what happened. Im stressed because its already been almost six months since the submission. How can they not recognize the case number when i have in my hand? Please help anyone.

Please note that i used the receipt number on NOA, not the biometic form. I read that it may be the number on biometic form that I have to use. Can you please confirm? Because I cannot seem to locate my biometic form. Dont the two numbers talk to each other. This system is so obtuse and inefficient!

Please use 2nd number from the Letter of Biometrics appointment ?

oh yeah me either. i apply for my removal of conditional residence, they gave me noa it also invalid

I Tried to called the uscis they told me to wait for RFE.

nov. 06 2013 -i 130

nov.18 2013-noa1

may 21 2013-noa2

june 20 2014- recieved nvc

july 2 2014- case number and iin assigned

july 9 2014- recieved email from nvc

july 17 2014-paid aos and iv bill

july 18 2014- recieved aos and iv bill

july 22 2014- ds260 completed

july 25 2014- send package aos and iv

july 30 2014- recieved the package

sept 22 revieved email from nvc indicate that we have a checklist on part 3..

sept23-aos checklist sent

sept 24 aos and iv scan

nov 14 case complte

nov 21 recieved email confirmation of case complte

dec 2 & 3 medical done ?

dec 3 schedule interview

reschedule the interview jan 09

visa approved and issued ??????

visa in hand jan 20 2015

You need to use the case number from the biometrics letter, NOT the one from the NOA1 to track case status for an I-751.

The NOA states right on it that you have to wait for the biometrics form and use the number listed on the biometrics form. Good luck! :)
