My fiance interviewed on April 27th in Ankara and got a 221g for missing a police clearence. Otherwise the interview was fine. He was given his passport and told to send it back with the police clearence. We finally recieved our police clearence in early June and sent it with our passport to the embassy. On June 9th CEAC said AP and it also said AP on the 10th. Due to the technical failure, our CEAC wasn't updated for 2 weeks. Yesterday I noticed it was updated again but still at AP however I called NVC and was told that our visa was ready to be issued/approved. Today CEAC was updated again with our status at READY and our case creation date was changed to today. Does this mean we got approved?

I hope so. The status says: Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application.

Also I noticed we went from immigrant to non immigrant. I am guessing that means we are approved.

Yes she is approved. Non-immigrant visas including K1 has been restored and back to issuing visas again according to travel.state.gov :) Statuses that was under AP will remain AP but then will change to READY to ISSUED when approved. Good luck! So happy for both of you :)

Time to start booking plane tickets then. We don't plan on leaving for almost a month so we should have the visa by then right?

My husband is on a r1 visa. Interview date may 18th we got refused with 221g because we needed a joint sponsor. CO said I said I didn't make enough money. We sent the missing documents within that week. He went on AP got several updates but on June 23rd it changed to ready now we are back on AP. I read sevaral post that he'd get his visa soon but I called US Travel Docs and nothing has changed. Is anyone else going through something like this please help!?

It is probably good news. I would call NVC. His visa is probably being printed. I don't know anything about US traveldocs because Turkey doesn't use them

I've tried calling but they don't answer (as usual) I'm going to send an email and see what they say. I hope you're right and his visa is being printed. He's being in El Salvador for almost 2 months now and his job is pending here in the states. Thanks for the reply! =)
