i-134 AOS Questions

Hello all,

I am trying to collect all the information for my beneficiary before he receives Packet 3. I have a couple questions on actually filling out the form i-134 as well as questions pertaining to the support for this form.

I am unemployed and will be using joint sponsors (my parents) for this form. When I fill out the form, what do I put when I get to the second page ("I am employed as or engaged in the business of...")? I just say "unemployed"? And then for the follow up questions, I do have a savings bank, but do I actually need to report that? If so, do I also need to get a letter from my bank even though the amount in savings doesn't meet the poverty level? As far as the other questions, do I put N/A or "none"?

Also, for my joint sponsors, what is the best form of evidence to bring in? I was thinking of including recent paystubs, W2's that go back a year, a letter from the bank, and proof of citizenship for them--is that sufficient?

Yes, put Unemployed. No reason to list assets, unless you have enough to equal at 3 times the income requirement to try and meet the requirement on your own. If not listing assets, just leave that whole section blank.

Yes, the co-sponsor needs their most recent tax return plus proof of current income. What you have seems sufficient.
