Dear Stakeholder,

Please join the Ombudsman for a teleconference recap of our Fourth Annual Conference. The Ombudsman hosts an annual conference bringing together leaders from government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector to exchange ideas and suggestions to address the immigration challenges faced by individuals and employers. The conference’s morning plenary sessions with remarks from Ombudsman Maria Odom, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, USCIS Director León Rodríguez, and IRS Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olsen are available online.

Our teleconference will focus on the afternoon breakout sessions, which include the following topics: interagency management of the visa queue, H-2A adjudications, immigration protections for victims, immigration benefit programs for children, employment-based petition (Form I-140) adjudications, and opportunities to address mailing issues with USCIS.

When: Wednesday, December 3, 2014

2:00 – 3:00 PM Eastern Time

Please RSVP with "Conference Recap" in the subject line by Monday, December 1 to CISOmbudsman.PublicAffairs@hq.dhs.gov.

Teleconference call-in information will be provided upon RSVP.

The Ombudsman hosts a monthly public teleconference series to share information about relevant topics and provide an opportunity to hear feedback from the community about issues related to the delivery of immigration benefits and services.
