Does it usually take long for the I-485 to come through?

the I-765 and I-485 are 2 different thingies.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

no. adjudication on the I-485 is separate queue/path - although they are 'related' they are not adjudicated together, at all.
