AOS delivered before i-94 expiry, but received afterwards

Hi, I sent off my AOS package (k-1 visa, married well within 90 days) and it arrived in Chicago and was signed for a few days before my i-94 expired, however I got the official "We received the package" email a couple of days after the i-94 expired.

Is their official date of receipt the date they signed for it, or afterwards?

I know that sending it after the 90 days is apparently not a problem if you were married within the 90, I'm just wondering what the official date they receive it would have been though.

It is never 100% sure, you will have to wait for the paper in the mail. Normally, it should be the day you got the email/text, but I was surprised to see my NOA1 was issued three days before I got the virtual notifications.

You can also verify the USCIS site, and see what it says in the box with the "on the .... of .... we have received an application ...".

The date you mail of your AOS extends the legality of your presence in the US but the official received date will be the one on the notice.

Your NOA lists a "priority date" which is the date they acknowledge receiving the application.
