Address for Getting Green Card

Hello,

I am on CR1 visa and am expecting my Green Card.

In DS_260 there was an option whether you want your Green Card and same address or other???

I chose some other address. Just wanted to know whether I will get my green card on the same address...

Experience of visa journey will help on this.

Also wanted to know on which address will i recive my SSN???

Ok if you put down another address it should go there, also the SSN card if you applied for it as part of the DS 260. Have you entered the US already? Because if not, I believe you have the option of choosing a different address at the POE, because my cousin's wife had moved to another state before he entered on his CR1 visa and he informed the CBP officer of her new address.

They technically should send everything to what ever address you chose.

Also 90% or more do not get their SSN via the DS-260. The DOS recognizes this. You will likely need to go to an SSA office with your passport 2 +weeks after POE and apply for the card yourself.
