All,

We just had our interview, our appointment was at 6:15AM and they let us in at 6:00AM and the lady looked at our infopass and then called us back in 10 minutes to take the paperwork, she said our documentation was too huge and gave us back some of it :). We got interviewed at 7:10AM and it was more like a chit chat. She didn't ask for any of our original documents (they only checked my passport and license) and she said our puppy looked cute in our pictures and we chatted about our wedding and her wedding, about cake, food etc.,. She just looked at the joint bank account and nothing else, she gave some of the stuff back cause the application was too big :).

Thanks for all who helped in this forum so far, especially Ashwin.

Collie/Kat,

She said that something about letter after 70 days, she said somewhere around 70 days and didn't specifically say exactly 70 days.

DORA Timeline

Kat,

I can't wait to start working either. What i understood is that if they think they can't make it in 90 days, then they will send u the letter. In a work perspective its almost better for us that they dont make it in 90 days so that once we get the 70 day letter we can go get the work permit. I dont know how it works for people who doesnt already hvae a social security number tho.

I already had a few interviews, just kinda waiting for the letter...

Hi Guys, just wanted to ask if we i need to file for EAD in DoRA Program itself??

Thanx..

If you will file AOS with DORA, you don't need to file for EAD (yet). If USCIS believes that they can't process your adjustment within 90 days, they will send you the "70th letter" letting you know that they need more time and that you can apply for EAD.

Nice day!

U mention above that, " If USCIS believes that they can't process your adjustment within 90 days, they will send you the "70th letter", what are those possible consequences too why they cant process it for 90 days?

Thank You

It's either we're terrorist or proven crazy :) .. just kidding. Well we can't really tell how they decide about that. It's more of inside stories I guess.
