Even though they say you cannot bring cell phones... US Citizens can. You surrender the phone during screening and get it back leaving the building.

If you want to pick up your Visa and/or request expedited treatment of an approved Visa, you must submit a written request to the Consular Officer at the time of the Interview. However, only medical emergencies are eligible for expedited treatment.

Some places on the Manila Embassy website say "All nonimmigrant visa applicants are required to complete and submit an online visa application form known as the DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application." You do NOT need to do a DS-160 for K-visas, though, and still use the DS156,156K, and 157, DS230 (part I only). This is specified on certain other places on the website, but note in all places so it may seem confusing. A DS 160 IS REQUIRED NOW and you MUST print the "receipt" after you've completed the DS 160 and bring to your interview.

CFO must be scheduled online. no walk-ins.
