Just thought I would post a note for you.

My former is from cambodia, and when we went thru this process they switched to Bangkok in the middle of our process. Nice to see it is coming back to Phnom Penh. It is nice there, and hope you all have a wonderful, and eventful life filled with happiness and the beauty that is Cambodia.

Just thought I would post our old web site here if anyone is interested in looking.

Hope you enjoy, and God Bless All.

I am very excited!!!! I will be expecting my Approval Notice by the end of this month for my wife! Wait for Packet 3. Mail that overnight after everything is checked off. Then, wait for Packet 4 for the interview date. After, I would schedule my flight to meet my wife!!!!!!

The thought of it gets me very excited. Hehehe.

Hi, How is everyone doing? My name is Jackson Siv. I'm a 25 yr old Chinese Cambodian that is residing in Providence, RI. I been assisting lots of my fellow Cambodians in immigration cases. I been doing it on the side for like 3 yrs now. I use to be a corporate travel agent for 10 yrs. I am located in Providence, RI. If anyone needs any assistance locally or have any questions in regards to K-1 and K-2 Visas, feel free to email me at jacksonsiv@cox.net. When I went through the K-1 Visa Process, I used this site as well. This is the best informative site out there that specializes in these particular visas. I would like to offer my knowledge and assistance in regards to the Cambodian Community. I understand how the consulate and the proper paperwork/certifications that are required in Cambodia to have a smooth transition in this process. I have traveled to Cambodia at least 10 times. Again, I would like to extend my warmest greetings.

Best Regards,

Jackson Siv

Hello everyone:

I am married to a cambodian woman. We live in Northern Calif. We interviewed in Bangkok Oct of 05. K1 was very smooth and only took 5 months. We will apply for her 10 year card in November. We traveled to Cambodia in November and spent a month there visiting family. (cooler in Nov.) My wife lived in Phnom Penh when I met her but is originally from Samrong Village, Mukda Commune, Sray Rieng Province.

Dammit. Not enough people.

Thanks Sam, I was looking for anyone that has recently gone thru P.P. consulate, how long it's taking to get Packet 3 etc.

Jeff

You can email the P.P. Embassy for your Packet 3. Do they only after the Embassy received your case number from NVC. You need to call the Embassy to find out. Then, you may express mail using DHL (overnight 60 dollars) to them. After, you may call to schedule an interview.

Take a look at my timeline. From what I've heard, this is the norm. Despite what their instructions says they do not mail the packet 3 to the beneficially but rather, the petitioner in the US which can take literally 30+ days via snailmail. Give them about 2 weeks once it reaches the embassy and send them an email inquiry. They will reply back with the packet 3.

We already send out our packet 3 from the attached email they send us and yet have not received anything from the embassy. All calls to the embassy is a ring no answer. I plan on giving them another week before I ring them up again. I am still waiting on my packet 3 from them.
