iPhone: How to save message history

For Viber 2.1.5 and above:

This much requested feature is now available. Simply direct your attention the Viber More tab - > Settings. And there you will see the option. Once selected, Viber will compile your message history into a text file (txt) and allow you to email it to yourself, or a selected email address.

At the moment, this compiled list will be sorted by telephone number rather than by name. This is due to the technical issues involved when using different language fonts. This detail will be resolved in future builds. We understand the urgency of saving your message history, and therefore we have pre-released this much requested feature.

Import a text file by opening it in Excel:

You can open a text file that you created in another program as an Excel workbook by using the Open command. Opening a text file in Excel does not change the format of the file you can see this in the Excel title bar, where the name of the file retains the text file name extension (for example, .txt). Please open Microsoft Excel...

Click on the Microsoft Office Button, or the File tab, and then click Open. The Open dialog box will appear.

Find the desired text file (TXT). You may need to change the File type box from All Excel Files to Text files. And select the desired file.

The Text Import Wizard will open.

Set the Original data setting to Delimited. Select Next.

Set the Delimiters to Tab. Select Next.

Select Finish.
