Saw this today on the Toronto-US Consulate website.

"Please note that the Toronto Consulate General does not process Immigrant Visa (I-130 petitions).

15 August 2011:

New Immigrant Visa Petitions Filing Process Beginning today, people filing their Form I-130 (Petitions for Alien Relative) will no longer be able to do so at U.S. Embassies and Consulates, except in locations where U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has a public counter presence within the Embassy or Consulate."

Here is a link to the press release:

As far as I can tell there is no USCIS office in Canada. Does this mean DCF is a no-go within Canada? Very disappointing if this is the case! I hope I'm wrong.

Unfortunately you are correct. Embassies with no USCIS staff cancelled DCF program and you need to file to USCIS in US to the Chicago Lockbox.

No DCF in Canada.

As of August 15th 2011. There is no more DCF as Canada does not have any USCIS offices.

----

The only countrys that allow DCF are listed on USCIS website.
