I'm going there Mon, May 30. Probably in the afternoon after I get my NBI clearance. I only have our Manila Case Number (just got it today) and a copy of the USCIS letter, plus the other requirements (passport, picture, payment etc.) WE don't have our NVC letter or appointment letter yet. However I've read somewhere here that as long as you have your MCN you can have the medical. :)

TIMELINE:

Feb 01, 2011 - Sent I-129F to Texas Lockbox

Feb 07, 2011 - I-129F Received

Feb 19, 2011 - NOA1 (Mail)

May 13, 2011 - NOA2 (e-mail notice)

May 17, 2011 - NOA 2 (Mail)

May 28, 2011 - Got case number after 2 weeks of waiting

May 30-31, 2011 - 2-day Medical at SLMEC (without the NVC letter, just the MCN)

July 01, 2011 - Interview (APPROVED despite delayed documents!)

July 14, 2011 - Picked up visa from 2Go Main

July 15, 2011 - Bought one-way ticket for first time immigrant (rate)

July 18, 2011 - CFO at SMEF-COW

My very best advice... ...avoid getting up before the crack of dawn and falling in line at St. Lukes with all of the other zombies. Instead, sleep in, have a leisurely breakfast and an extra cup of coffee. Then, wander over to St. Lukes about lunchtime or so. There will be no line, and you will complete the first day of your medical in less time than it took the zombies to complete their medicals.

Ohhh...and don't forget to wear comfortable shoes for going up and down the stairs. Also, it's cold in St. Lukes, so take a sweatshirt, a sweater, or a jacket. Also, take a snack with you. Manong guard doesn't check your bag.

Good luck everyone! :star:

thanks to all....i will surely share my medical experience....

to fands: make sure to bring your certificate of decision and your finality on your medical and cfo seminar...they will ask for that and if found psycho incapacitated you will need to have a psycho test and evaluation for the whole day and it will cost php4,000. just like mine...and that fee is excluded from the $213 for the regular medical...just be prepared...goodluck and god bless

Just got back from my first day of medical. Geeez, it was exhausting trying to find SLMEC (took me almost an hour from Pedro Gil LRT station) and finally going up and down those stairs. Lol! Tomorrow I'm having the dreaded vaccines. Good thing I'm scheduled to have them in the afternoon. :)
