We just scheduled our interview at the Embassy in Ciudad Juarez. We have a question regarding some information we were given over the phone about an "Embassy Plaza Shopping Center". Feel free to answer in Spanish or English! Mil Gracias -MyR

Does anyone know something about the "Embassy Plaza Shopping Center"? When I called to schedule the interview they told me that on the day of the interview I should go to this place first, and that from there they bring you to consulate for the interview. However, today, while reviewing the interview date confirmation email , I noticed it doesn't mention anything about this place! Now we are a little confused- Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

Gracias!

It is just another name for the Consulate. It has quite a little shopping center built around it for all your waiting needs. I have some pictures on my page, they suck because we got yelled at for taking them but they show a little bit of the plaza.

So cool that you're so close!!!!!

We just came back from Juarez and yes you do have to go to this building. The building is located in a plaza just north of the consulate. You go there 30 minutes prior to your appointment. There, they check your paperwork and stamped it, and then you get the ok to proceed to your appointment at the consulate. Here they ask for the letter you received from the consulate, passports, and the DS-260 form. In this same plaza is the CAS building (Applicants Service Center). For the CAS make sure you take your letter from the consulate, passport and the DS-260 form. Don’t make the same mistake I made. I took the other letter you receive when you schedule the consulate and CAS appoint. They would not let you in with this letter.
