Only piece of wisdom I will share with you, For CFO go to St. Mary and avoid PRISM

I will let more recent people who have been thru Interview for Medical and USEM answer, since they are are more on top of it, and it's been a few years since I was in your situation

Good Luck and it will all be over soon.

On Taxes (IRS) (IRT) - We "USC" don't have to file 2010 until April 15th. And he won't get his W-2's for 2011 until sometimes after January 31, 2012.

Taxes are always a year behind

Income tax returns - I believe he will only need last year, 2009, unless he has completed already 2010. I have, and your fiance should have by now, but as TCO said, it's not required to file until 15 APR, and if he is deployed, he can even go past that.

No, military don't "pay stubs" like most people, we get LES, a Leave & Earnings Statement. Ask your asawa for his last three, plus he can send you Dec 2010, 2009, and 2008... these show income for the entire year. Or, he can send you W2's for the past 3 years. Either one should work. But a LES shows more income than a W2, because some of our military pay is non-taxable; so if he is trying to show ability to support you, his LES will show more income.

No one addressed it, but I have never heard about the 1,000 & 3,000 Php psych fees. Just the $213 USD exam fee.

As for the military memo, I would do something like this:

"(rank) (name) has been in service to the US Military for (X) years. His record is impeccable, his dedication to his country is beyond reproach."

Then his commander should sign it. Standard MFR (Memorandum For Record) format. If your fiance has several years left in the military, he should mention that, as it shows job stability.

TACO, why this nugget of wisdom? What's wrong with PRISM?

What I used for certificate of employment was a letter I got online from our virtual Military Personnel Flight (vMPF....I'm Air Force) The letter was a proof of service. The military paystubs are Leave and Earnings statements (LES's). I gave my wife my last 6 months of LES's (of course they were submitted to the NVC too)

As far as tax returns or transcripts...It would be 2008-2010 like everyone stated. Your fiance should be able to print his W-2s from online (I know I use the mypay site)

My wife went to PRISM and had no issues. I dont know why everyone says that PRISM is bad. It isnt very far from the embassy. Unless you live closer to St. Mary's...PRISM will be just fine. My wife said the at the CFO seminar they asked more questions than at the interview. Your best bet would be to go to the interview and then go do your CFO while you have all the evidence from the interview. It worked out pretty good for my wife. Other than that, it looks like you have it pretty well covered. You shouldnt need that many passport photos, but they are cheap there and easy to carry, so just stick to the numbers you have now.

Good luck!
