Di talaga maraming pinoy dito sa IL. Pero di naman kalayuan yong Arlington Heights dito sa Joliet. Try mong hanap ng malapit na Filipino Store dyan.

uhmmm not true.. im from chicago, illinois and there are lotsa filipinos here.. maybe jan sa sa area nyo ng illinois wala mashado..

As suggested try networking through your local filipino store to find and meet other filipinos. Also look into local FilAm organizations. By going to FilAM events the people attending gave us contacts to local fils we did not know about.

Nakapunta na ako jan sa Joliet kc jan ko pinaayos ung sa medical ko...mejo malayo din galing dito samin mga 1 hr 30mins drive din..ung malapit na filipino store dito nagsara na .. anong work mo jan sa joliet kabayan?

I do some tutoring. Merong malapit na Filipino store dito sa amin, bandang Romeoville, kapag miss kong magtagalog ..... punta akong store..... Hehehehe!...

Yep! Ala masyadong Filipino dito sa place namin...... di naman ako bored dito sa amin kasi dami naman pagkakaabalahan....

I guess lapit lang sa inyo yong Mitsuwa Market..... paminsan-minsan pumunta kami dyan kapag pumupunta kaming Frys.

Yeah i knw Algonquin is near to our place maybe 10mins drive..I already invited ur wife to be my friend..Is ur wife working? I just got my green card today, and will start jobhunting, its quite hard to find job now a days but im hoping and praying that i can find one.

Oo nga eh, gusto ko din maraming friends na filipino para mas masaya.. kmusta ka naman jan? ako 6 months pa lang me dito sa US mejo nabbored na pero tiis lang ng konti..ako wala pa din friends na filipino bukod sa kamag anak ng asawa ko, pero malalayo din cla tsaka dito na cla naglakihan kaya parang american style na din cla.. cge ingat..

Hindi kabayan, Kano. Ako ay dalawa at kalahting oras kalayo s Chicago malpit sa I-80. Practicing my tagalog.

Not kabayan(from Philippines), American. We live 2.5 hours west of Downtown Chicago along I-80.

About 40 minutes east of Moline. Sorry for the late reply.
