hola a todos...

hace un mes y trece dias, tuve la cita de los Biometrics (15 de Junio) y el 11 de junio mi caso fue transferido a california. y de alli hasta el dia de hoy, no he tenido mas noticias sobre mi caso, es esto normal o debo llamar y preguntar por mi caso?, es que estoy planeando viajar en Diciembre a Colombia, para casarme por la Iglesia, pero me da cosa que yo este haciendo planes y mi gren card no llegue a tiempo. Otra cosita, si yo salgo de Colombia, mas o menos que tiempo debo estar por fuera teniendo la green card?, porque pienso irme a principios de Diciembre para ir organizando mi matrimonio, el cual sera a finales de Diciembre, mi esposo llegaria unos dias antes de la boda.

Alguna sugerencia al respecto??

COLOMBIA,

Si no ha recibido su green card de aquí a diciembre puede viajar con el I-131 para que pueda volver a entrar, aunque tenga en cuenta que de vez en cuando no es 100% seguro que Inmigración le permita entrar.

Las personas con residencia permanente pueden estar fuera del país hasta 12 meses.

Creo que al regresar es cuando te cuestionan el porque de tu viaje y si al oficial que te toca le parece que la razon no es "valida" te niegan la entrada.

Creo que al regresar es cuando te cuestionan el porque de tu viaje y si al oficial que te toca le parece que la razon no es "valida" te niegan la entrada.

Hola Tod@s!!! Ahora que mencionan el tema del Advance Parole... Alguien ha viajado con este permiso? Que experiencia han tenido al respecto? Tengo una pareja de amigos, quieren ir a Colombia pero aun no le ha llegado la tarjeta de residencia a ella. Recibieron un correo diciendo que el Advance Parole ya fue autorizado y que les debe llegar a la casa en unos 10 dias. Puede alguien decirme si es seguro que viaje ella con el Advance Parole o mejor que espere su Green Card.

Gracias por las sugerencias con respecto a mi inquietud, esperare hasta el mes de Agosto a ver si ya me ha llegado alguna notificacion sobre mi caso, y si no, pues entonces llamare a USCIS.

Me alegra que teniendo la Green Card no hay afanes ni carreras para regresar a USA...solo estare casi un mes en Colombia.

Bendiciones.

Ahora ya soy oficialmente Residente de Los Estados Unidos.

Muchas Gracias Mi Dios, solo tu puedes hacer nuestros sueños realidad.

hola..... aplique endiciembre pero hasta marzo mi caso fue transferido al centro de california y me acabode llegar la carta de bienvenida al status de residente permanente.... :dance: que bien descansar de tanto papeleo hasta el 2011 :blush:

Varias personas en VJ han viajado con el Advance Parole y las han dejado volver a entrar sin ningún problema. El Advance Parole son dos hojas creo y al volver a entrar a USA Inmigración se queda con una de las hojas y el inmigrante se queda con la otra. Por lo general le permiten la entrada nuevamente sin ningún problema, pero si ellos quieren se la pueden negar, o sea que no es 100% garantizado así tengan el Advance Parole en mano.
