Event Description

Embassy Review : my fiance arrive on time for his 9am K1 visa appointment.his experience was the same as everyone else as far as presenting the documents, paying the fees, getting finger printed. when he got there the room was full. he waited 5 and a half hours for the interview. he was the last person in the room. he had an American man CO (with green eyes) who was serious, but kind. he asked him all the usual questions: how we met, if i came to visit him, how many times, where was i born, what was my job, if he knew what my duties were on my job, what we liked to do together, what kind of books i like to read, if we ever read books together, and the name of one, if i was religious. these questions were specific to us, just to see if we were who we said we were. there were 3 questions that we didn't expect: did we have a joint bank account, did we make any large purchases when i was in morocco, and what he would do for health insurance when he comes here. he answered honestly about the health insurance--that we never discussed it, but he was sure that once he got here we would address the issue. we think the questions about the bank account and the purchases were to determine if he was after my money. anyway, the CO liked us and told my fiance to come back on friday at 3pm to pick up the visa.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
