Event Description

Embassy Review : well my morning got off to a bad start, first i forgot to print the NVC receipt to show that i had already paid. and i started freaking out about that, since i didn't have time to print it, my interview was 8:30 am. then i got on the wrong bus,
and ended up in downtown kingston, then it begun to rain, my hair and all was
soaked(talk about bad luck lol)got to the embassy at 7:30am gave the phone to
the guys across the street to keep. then went through security, my husband was told that he had to wait in the court yard.one thing i can tell you, when going
to the embassy make sure that you are well fed before,lol..hungry and thirst almost kill me.lol..at one point i thought i was going to pass out. because they
do not call the numbers evenly, so i was there for 6hrs before i got through.
there were 3windows being used 7,8,9 the woman at window 7 a white female with
short hair was handing out blue slips left, right and center she even denied
a couple, they were a white female in her early 40's and a black male in his late 30's looking. she grilled them both for about 45mins then finally told them
that their story didn't add up and that she was sending back their petition. she
advised them that they could contest it. by this time myself and any one sitting close by started to say we didn't want to get her. and low and behold we got her the lady that was sitting next to me went up first, she got blue slipped. when it was my turn to go up mark you by this time i almost didn't care anymore, i was so hungry and thirsty,on top of the fact that i was sick with the flu, my head was throbbing, my body aches and my poor lil 4yr old was miserable, and started sleeping. so all i wanted to do was get out! anyway my number called i went up, swore in and the questions begins.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
