Consulate Review: Bucharest, Romania
Review Topic:
Event Description
Review Date : April 14, 2011
Embassy Review : I wasn't too nervous anymore once I got there, idk why
The consul was a nice guy, kept on smiling all the time. He first made me swear i tell the truth then he asked if my fiance was with me, i said yes and the told me to call him too at the window. So we both answered the questions he asked: when and how did we first meet, who contacted who first, then he said "this is your second meeting right?" we said yes then he asked me when did my fiance propose then he asked my fiance if he was prepared with the ring the first time we met, he told him he wasn't but then i said "well i do have a ring now" and showed my hand to him, even though i saw him looking at my ring 3 times before he asked that question he also asked my fiance where he works.
he didn't ask any questions about any future plans. I kept on smiling all the time as his smiling face was encouraging me to do it too
it's very easy, nothing to worry about!
good luck to everybody!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
