Hubby called US embassy Friday to follow-up on visa status and was told to call 2Go. When hubby called 2Go, they said it was ready for pick up. Visa received 3 days after interview! :)

Event Description
Review Date : October 25, 2012
Embassy Review : My husband was interviewed on October 23, 2012. His appointment time was 06:30AM but he was already in line outside the US embassy as early as 4AM. They gave him a number and when he was called, proceeded to Biometrics prior to Interview. Then it was time for him to get interviewed. These are the questions asked to him by the consular officers:

First Pre-screen interview by Filipina consul

When did we get married?
How did we meet?
Do we have kids? -No
She asked for recent W2 Tax documents by petitioner
She also asked for our pictures and said we looked cute together

Then my hubby proceeded to his final interview with an American consular officer

The interviewer was very pleasant and thanked my husband for his warm smile. He commented on my husband's jacket and said it looked good. My hubby said I gave it to him when I came home to the Phils last year. Interviewer asked the ff:

What is your wife's job?
What company does she work for?
Is she alone in the US? -With family
Are you guys planning to move out when you get there? - Eventually YES

Then he was typing some stuff in the computer for a while. Husband was nervous and consular officer told him, "Relax, your visa has been approved already." YESSS!!! I can only imagine/picture out that bright smile on my hubby's face!

Then he proceeded to another counter for 2GO shipping of his visa to be picked up at SM Mall of Asia... I hope he gets it in 3 days as some say based on experience. God Bless everyone!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
