First interview was scheduled for, Tuesday, 9-7-2010, but it was canceled, when X-rays during the 9/3 physical exam revealed spots on her lungs. So, it was a wasted visit, as I could not attend the final interview. A couple points: 1. If your lady is 45+, better to schedule an earlier physical, since TB was prevalent back then. Many ladies have forgotten about their bouts with TB. 3 days of testing are required. Takes up to 52 days for the results.
2. The physicians panel has the discretion of a 3 months or a 6 months time frame for entry into the US. Time starts, when the panel signs off, not when the visa is issued, though the deadline is shown on the visa. Took about the full 52 days for the panel to sign off, but another 2 weeks for another interview date to be set. By the time the visa was issued 1 1/2 of the 3 months set had already passed, so planning had to be expedited. She landed @ SFO on 1/16 with a day to spare. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
