Event Date
Port of Entry : Boston
POE Date : 2010-12-01
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 5
Comments : POE was great. The interviewer could have been more friendly and made my husband feel a little less like a criminal but all in all the result was good. My husband missed his connecting flight and ended up having to stay his first night in the United States alone in a hotel in Boston but it's all done now and we are so happy!

Comments : FINALLY! This process took forever! California Service Center was way backed up and it took until September 2013 for our case to move to Kansas City Service Center. We had our interview and the lady only asked us 5 questions and sent us on our way. We had brought extra information with us and she never asked for it. One week later we received a RFE. We had to mail out more of the same information that they already had. Thank goodness for Megan at Congressman Moran's office for her help in the processing. She helped keep our case moving and was such a sweet person to deal with.

Embassy Review : Interviewer made my husband feel very comfortable and confident. Asked a few questions and looked through our information then asked my husband to come back the next day to bring a translated copy of the B3 then the following day his visa would be ready.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
